I'm going to ask for a second invite, wonder if there is a penalty for that

Yes received my Analytics and Gmail Webmail Hosting invites last week within a day of each other. Along with the new Google Spreadsheets.

Got mine today after only waiting 2 days. I don't know what parameters they use but I have a fairly new and small forum. I do have adsense, adwords and a google news feed and submit a google site map.
