Clean up Vbulletin settings...
Hi! I had a vb2.x with few hacks on it, hacks that stored their settings on the DB and on the vb settings section.
I just upgraded to vb3.5.4 and everything went smooth. However it did not clean up the old vb2 hack options and groups from vb settings nor (probably, coz i ven't checked this, the db tables for those hacks). How could i clean this up? Where do i remove the old hack settinggroups and options for each old hack? Step by step brief explanation would be great! Thanks! |

Put your board into debug and then when you go into the vBulletin Options menu, there'll be an option to remove them.
Add the following code anywhere in your config.php file to enable debug mode. PHP Code:

That part worked like a charm, thanks, but does this clean up the db of orphan settings??

Hmm, you've got me there. I'd imagine it would, but you may want to check phpMyAdmin.

It can take some time to find out that, or is there a query that would list them all? I noticed that may be during the upgrade, vb renamed the old hack settingsgroups to hackpackage_x being x a number....
