Does this hack already exist?
Looking for a hack where users that are in a certain usergroup have their posts stand out within a thread in one way or another.
This would be used when you want to make it clear that posts from certain members are special in some way, e.g. the posters are very knowledgeable, should be respected, etc. Of course that's just psychology and not code |

you don't need a hack for this. Template conditionals will do. The exact conditional you use depends on how you want the posts to stand out.

Very true, albeit the people that will probably end up selecting how the posts stand up aren't coders, and I wouldn't want them to be able to blow something up anyway Also, having a nice on / off switch in the plugin area's just nice to have.
Reminds me, still can't get one of my hacks to be 100% plugin, still needs minor code mods, which SUCKS. |

Friendly bump. I take it this doesn't exist as a hack? I know of simpler forum hacks that are already plugins.
