Fred Flintstone, er, I mean Tony Stewart is on my list.

I pull for Dale Jr, but he's not much like his dad in racing style.

I absolutely hate the Bush brothers, just punks.

oh yeah! My favorite current drivers are Jr and Mark Martin

Favorite previous drivers are Earnhardt Sr and Rusty Wallace.

don't you think it's good that Jr isn't much like his dad. I actually think that he's tried too hard to NOT be like his dad, stemming from the fact that the media and others made a big toodoo about him trying to ride his daddies coattails.
IMO, he's worked his ass off up through the ranks (unlike jeffiepoo) and is deserving of the status that he now enjoys as one of nascar's favorite drivers.

I despise the Earnhardts, I won't go into why. It was mostly because of his fans, same reason I hate Jeff Gordon ^^.

I am a Rusty Wallace fan, he's the king of the short track. I remember going to Martinsville speedway as a kid for the races, my dad would get me out of school on the Friday before the race and we'd drive up each day on the weekend to watch whatever was going on. I used to love going on Fridays because if you came before a certain time you could walk around the track and go into the pit area without a pass. One year one of the guys running Busch let me sit in his car, I forget who it was, I wish I knew so I could write him to say thanks!

I always like Harry Gant, I talked to him when I was 6 years old at a local dirt track (311 speedway). The Winston Cup guys would come down on Saturday nights if Sunday's race was close by (in these days North Carolina hosted multiple races a year). He was a cool guy, and even though there was a line of people behind me waiting on him to sign their stuff, he still took the time to answer every question I asked.

Anyone remember Morgan Shepherd? He was another one of the drivers I met as a kid. My dad and I were eating at a local burger joint and Mr. Shepherd comes walking through the door looking for a hot dog. We sat at the bar and talked racing with him for at least an hour, another man that I have a lot of respect for.

This year I'm pulling for Mark Martin, I've always like him and I want to see him win the cup before he calls in quits. Rusty leaving last year kinda put me out in the cold you know, at least he won a couple before he left. I was getting tired of pulling for a loser! Although I can't blame him, NASCAR begin money hungry and doing away with the short tracks took away his edge. Psshh NASCAR, always making it up as they go a long......

Dale Earnhardy Jr. gained a little respect from me with some of his comments after Tony Stewat said "We are going to kill someone again"

My favorite? All the Richard Petty Cars and Carl Edwards among a few new drives.

They really need to pull it together and stop changing things as they go, it's really hurting the sport.
