threadbit display question or language problem?

I'm busy setting up a new forum for my users, but the weird thing is that when a username has more then 8 characters the alignment of the "last message" colum in the threadbit shows a problem.

Right after the "by USERNAME" the line is broken off and below the post date continu's.

However, this is only the case when I'm using the installed Dutch language, when I use the English or standard language it's shown as it's supposed to.

I've added two screenshots screen 1 is in the English language, screen 2 is in the Dutch language.

Is this a problem with the language? Or is this a template problem?
