Questions from a totally inexperienced coder
Well, here's my problem:
In the member.php page, I'm trying to eliminate a border that is generated by the header and footer templates. However, I can't find where the page is calling those templates from. Does anybody know where they're coming from? |

Link?
If the border is definately made by the header and footer, you'll have to change their templates first, then reapply them elsewhere. Otherwise, try the memberlist templates |

When modifying templates, it is often helpful to have Add Template Name in HTML Comments setting enabled so you can view the source of a page to determine what template(s) control it.
Admincp/ vB options/ General Settings/ Add Template Name in HTML Comments |

Hello,
You are using a Griffin style. Without even looking at the code, I would speculate to say he used wrappers to handle some of the borders. That would be defined in the css. He likely has the div tags starting in the header and closing in the footer. (I am guessing but that is how I would handle things like that!) |
