Retrieving Deleted Threads?
Is there a way to retrieve other member's pm's that have been deleted recently? It's probably a simple sql query, but I don't know how to do it. I really need help with this quickly! My boss lost a very important message and is all over me to get it back!! HELLPPP!!!

Deleted=deleted, as far as I know.. have you checked the db?

If it is not deleted by either the sender or the receiver, it will still be in the system. He could ask of the sender still got it in his "Send Items" folder.
If sender and all receipants have deleted it, then it is gone forever, only a backup can save you then. |

He claims it was there a couple of days ago and now it's gone. It's possible that the sender has it, but it's a nasty pm that I'm pretty sure he's not going to want to resend.
If it's still in the db, how would I go about checking it? I just did a full backup this morning. |

I'd install one of the pm reading hacks for this, it'd be easier than learning the query to fetch it straight from the database considering you know the alledged sender in question. |

The easiest would be to install my PM Workbench, since you can also search the PM's on sender/receiver or on text.
Alternative would be to read it direct from teh database. |
