yeah but running a program like 3ds max using virtual pc is just silly. Especially when it comes to rendering... I have amd athlon 3500+ for all my rendering needs

yeah Vista is just like XP.
Rather than a Crayola skin for Windows they have gone with a Glass skin. (OoO original) What's next brushed metal...

Microsoft are about Five years behind the mac os, which moves forward so fast because of it's open sourced nature. Of course what you pay apple for is some branding but it's also put together and packaged in a whole thing that works as it is supposed to.
