Posts in wrong sections
Hi,
Can the forums staff PLEASE add a popup notice to specific sections stating that this particular section is for new plugins, hacks etc and not for general questions. When people post in the wrong sections, its annoying to see there posts appear in the latest hacks on the front page. And........ Make a seperate sections specifically for questions about how to do this and that. Laters |

I was just going to post this... only like as a template edit right above the field to add the text with nice big bold letters saying "THIS FORUM IS FOR ADDING A MOD YOU CREATED -- NOT QUESTIONS!"
There is a seperate section for questions, just that people dont read. |

why not add one of those forum agreement hacks so they have to check off a box and accept that they will be posting a modification.

This has come up quite a few times in the last 2 weeks or so. Please use search.
I remember Xenon said he'd be adding something that would alert members quite clearly that they are posting in a modification forum. For now, report the post, do not post in the thread with something stupid like "zomg wrong forum u r stoopid" and we'll be allright. That's why mods are here for. |
