is there a hack to add a second nav bar underneath the main nav bar?
I've looked and haven't found one.

or.. you could just duplicate the code for the current one in the navbit template.....
Styles and templates -> style manager -> drop down on current style -> all templates -> navigation / Breadcrumb -> navbar
