Disable Registration IP Address?

I need to know how I could COMPLETELY & FULLY disable IP Logging. Of course, I have the options set to not record ip, however, during the registration process an IP address is obtained. Im not certain that is the only one at this point, but it looks to be.

This is a matter of security so I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer with this.

I am also in need of a SQL query to remove any and all ip addresses stored in the vB database.

If you can help me with either of these this morning, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

The Query;

UPDATE user SET ipaddress='';

That should empty out all ipaddress stored in the user table -> ipaddress field, I would just like to make sure that removing these ip addresses shouldnt mess anything else up.

To disable registration ip capture:

Open register.php

find
"$userdata->set('ipaddress', IPADDRESS);"
and replace with
$userdata->set('ipaddress', '');

If anyone see's any problems with my solution PLEASE point it out so I can make the necessary corrections.
