I had made a post about something similar to this and then I received an email from someone that said he/she had this plug-in made and wanted to sell it to me to cover part of his costs.
I have written him/her back and they never replied to me.
Is there a modification that does what he/she was selling:

What it does is that you can use categories created under the main root category as forums. It even includes in each forum the users' statistics you can find only in index.php. So everytime you create a category under forum (root), you can use that as a forum (or independent forum). It is so nice because it looks like a different vbulletin board with its own statistics at the bottom of the
page.
