Coding a custom CMS around vB?
Ok... I think this is my first post here!
I have a site at the moment which uses vB and a CMS which I coded. They're very seperate and don't work together at all. It took me a long time to code it in PHP/MySQL, and I'm quite a beginner. I'm starting a new site and would like to have a lot of user options, like being able to control newsletter subscriptions, what version of the home page you see (depending on Country) etc and would love users to have just one log on - ideally the vB one. I've read about the integration on a few threads here, and it seems fairly straightforward. Before I start anything, I have a few questions...
Many thanks for any feedback - this is a great forum! James |
