Good day to all,
Facing an issue here and hope anyone can help me out. I am about to set a new vbb forum for a new website i am about to create. However, I am currently sharing a vbb forum with other interest groups and wish to pull out the threads under my own section into my newly setup vbb. I am unable to do so as the current vbb do not provide such a function. I am reluctant to do the switch now as i am afriad of losing the threads and post i currently have on the shared forum.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Or is there a 3rd party software that actually assist me in doing this porting over without losing the exiting posts?

First of all vbb (Versatile Bulletin Board) is not vBulletin, so please make clear from where to where you are trying to copy the info.

All you will need from your old forum is either a direct connection to the database (so you can use ImpEx), or a backup of the current database.
