Preview / teaser of searches results
I'm in the process of moving from ubb.threads to vbulletin and I am trying to get a few things in VB to be similar to what I had in ubb as my users are very familiar with the interface.
When it comes to searches, there does not seem to be a way to allow for a preview / teaser of the searched results. Attached is a sample of what I previously had. How do I get VBulletin to do the same? |

I assume you mean when the user does a search?
If so I have seen this, but I'm looking for a way to default this on with things like "new posts". I assume if I wanted to condense the information, that would be a new search template? Sorry for the 'simple' questions, but I"m new to Vbulletin. I had the hang of things in UBB.threads, but am still learing vbulletin. thanks, |

No, you don't need a new search template. What you need is edit the PHP code to display the results as posts instead of as threads.
It was already done for vB 3.0.7: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...threadid=77703 |
