Adding Breadcrumb Nav at Bottom of Forum Also

Hi,

I would like to add the breadcrumb navigation at the bottom of the forum in addition to the default top location.

Is there a simple way to do this?

Yes. Place $navbar where you want to have it.

Hmmm, I tried placing that at the top of the footer template but no dice. I really just want it at the bottom of actual posts, any other suggestions? Thanks for the reply.

footer won't work, that template is being eval()ed too early.
showthread, forumdisplay etc. should be fine

But I don't think it's worh the hassle.
I had a 2nd navbar there several month ago ... nobody used it so it was just a waste of bandwidth.

Does it actually add extra bandwidth though, since it is already being displayed at the top? (forgive me but my logic is simply considering the usage of 2 identical images on the same page) I have had a few requests hence my interest in it. People would rather just click the nav to get back to the forums rather than scrolling back up.

EDIT: It does work in SHOWTHREAD, thanks, but I am interested still if it is eating more bandwidth.

That logic (about the image) wont work because the browser is smart enough to know its the same image, however, for HTML, it wont work.

Having a second navbar will add to your page size, even if the same thing is being displayed twice.
