have you trillian users got it to work? mine works but i just don't like how it adds (trillian309jf02394ij) after your screenname.

go to http://www.google.com/talk/otherclients.html and click on Trillian pro if you have not already...that's how i got it to work.

The no-frills interface is fine, but they need to let people turn some of these features off.

What should I do if I receive unsolicited calls or chats?
Ignore them...

Oooh.. bad answer. How about preventing unsolicited contact in the first place instead of telling us to block people who shouldn't be there?

Why do people I didn't add appear in my Friends list?
Each time you send a message from Gmail, the recipient's email address is automatically added to your Gmail Contacts list. If you communicate with that person often enough, he or she is automatically added to your Google Talk Friends list so you can easily communicate...

No, no. That's gotta go, too.

Set up this IM and you can't use the GMail Notifier anymore,either. So if you need that, you can't leave Google Talk off.

This thing has a long way to go.
