I know the board has new posts already on it but does it have todays posts somewhere as well or do I have to add a mod for that?

Today's posts? Post from the last 24 hours since you visited, or what? New Posts really covers that feature, plus it's better since it's individualised for every member's last visit.

Maybe you mean something like Latest Threads?

I meant like Vbulletin.org has, just noticed it, in their pull down quick links. They have todays posts and new posts. How do I add todays posts there?

I'm not even sure if that's a modification. =/ My suggestion - try doing yourforumlink.com/forum/search.php?do=getdaily and see if it works.
