It may seem like a good idea to skip class and party with your friends, etc., but it's not like you get a second chance at high school. Also- you can slack off in class and most teachers will push you along because they don't want to deal with you again next year, but you didn't really learn what you needed to know. Ultimately the teachers don't care because it's not their education that you are messing up. Your education is a valuable thing, and you should take full advantage of it, and what your school has to offer. At school, just like in life, you have a lot of acquaintances, but only a few real friends. Don't get caught up in the cliques (easy to say) or trying to be popular and instead concentrate on school, and your few close friends.

The web design teacher didn't know that normal static webpages were done in HTML. "How do you guys code the pages?" "Frontpage and Dreamweaver." "Ah. HTML." "What? No Frontpage and Subdreamer." "...Same thing." "No." "..Yes. Dreamweaver just puts the code into visual form. When you uplaod it ot the server it puts it there in HTML form." "Oh..." "What do you use to edit imags on the page?" "Paint..." "Oh boy..." I';m in charge of our school's website this comngi year...I'm in for a long ride.

My friend has a kid who is in High School and he got sent home from school last year because he got in to an argument with his history teacher who had never heard of Kent State, and when the kid tried to tell her about what happened she told him he was a liar because nothing like that ever happened in the USA :ermm:

hahahaha. My th grade teacher got mad at me once cause she as informing the class that Bill Gates was the richest man on the planet. I politely raised my hand and said
"Mrs. Baker, they announced on the news today that this guy over in the middle east found on this gold and oil and is now richer than bill gates." And I was right. I don't know if this guy still is the richest. But anyways she got mad. Kept me after class and yelled out me. Scared me so much I didn't tll my parents or anything. She made me cry and stuff. Told me I had no friends and no one liked me. hehe...Wish I had Driver's Ed with her now "Who's in control now?!? Huh?!? See the brick wall!!!!hahahahahaha!!!!"
