Default RSS feed to post
The newest version of IPB includes a feature where RSS news items can be automatically imported into message board posts.

Has anyone made a plugin or extension for vBulletin 3.5 that can do the same thing?

The RSS feed posts in IPB is made by a member bot with a post count that stays at zero. Would that be possible, too?

Wow I wonder if there is a simpler way for a program to do that. All that confuses me.

It does do a few more things then you ask for. I use it to get posts from several mailing lists, blogs and other sources.

It's in the works still, but i liked your idea and i'd hate for IPB to have something vb didn't

My hopes are someone will fix VB's RSS external to be controled by usergroup permissions Vs forum permissions. Then we can filter output even from private forums.
