Is there a beginners tutorial for how to customise my vb look?
I've been searching this forum for a simple beginners guide. Right now I just want to change the VB logo on the forum to something else. How do I do that? Is there a beginners tutorial? The vb help hasn't been much help.
Edit: Okay I have looked at some xml files for styles and I have found the titleimage variable. But how do I change that from the admin panel? Do I have to go into a file to change this or create my own xml file? I don't understand why I have all these options to modify styles and change the HTML but I can't even change the title image! Do I need to hardcode it? If there are variables, why can't I just easily change their values? Edit: oh hoh, I figured it out. It's a drop down menu I missed. But is there any kind of tutorial anyone knows of for beginners? |

All the styles are done from the admin panel I did not know how to do it either when I bought it a couple of days ago, and after looking around the admin panel a bit and seeing the styles and template menu, there was a nice editor with all the variablles, CSS, and other goodies. You can change the look on almost every aspect of your vbulletin site.
All the styles are stored in the database and not physical files as is the case with a lot of other bb's cms's out there. Also, you can upload and download the xml files from the same panel. Good luck. |
