Okay, I'm running a music boards and the members get sorted into 3 different studios when they register. Problem is, is there a template modification out there so that when they get sorted into a studio [Or to a usergroup for that matter

], they get a permanent user title in bold above their current user titles,which they can change, but when they change it, the name of their studios doesn't disappear? I know of several boards which do this, but I cant seem to find the modification and/or hack. If someone can help me out with this, it is greatly appreciated.

Hmm, that wasn't what I was looking for, since I'm not going to change just one or a few users, but about a few hundred at one go... :$ And I'm pretty sure I don't want to do that. Unless I tweak the modification Kitz did. *Nods*

So, you want a mod which allows users to have a custom title they can change through their profile?

Easiest way is to make a new profile field, and add the profile field variable in the postbit template around bold tags. Simple.
