Default [Request] : Use the moderator column for a combination of other purpose !

Hello,

In the forum home page, i'd like to convert the moderator column into the following :

1. Have a forum specific sponsor image of size say, 88 x 31 or 120 x 30 along with the word sponsor( right aligned).

2. If these is no sponsor for a specific forum, then, i wish to have a forum options like new thread and/or subscribe options.

3. the images ( sponsor images ) can be different for different forum.

There is a hack to have sponsor images for categories, i guess its inbuilt in ver 2.3.0 (??), if that can be integrated along with the category sponsor hack, it'd be really fine.

Is there such an hack ?? i have looked all the full releases at vbulletin.org and here at vbulletintemplates.com also, but couldn't fine any ??

Can someone help me here ??

Thanks

Well, sponsers listed differently for specific forums in the mod column will require hacking. You probably won't find anything here so I suggest you ask this at vB.org and see if they can locate anything.

Unless I'm mistaken..

Tony,

I have posted the same request on vb.org also.

I see some hackers here in your community also who have released some wonderful tweaks/hacks, hence i posted a request here.

I hope someone here picks it up and releases the hack !

Actually, i happen to see one hack at vb.org, but that image appears in the forum display in a seperated column, but i wanted the image ( a micro button ) to be on the forum home page as described above.

Is it a very complicated hack ??

thank you very much

1 and 3 are doable, #2 will require hacking because we cant play with any bit templates via phpinclude.

Okay, if 2 cannot be done without hacking.....

Any option of just leaving it blank ( i mean the cell for that forum which will not have a sponsor ) without any missing image X marks ??

Also, by hacking you mean, it'll have a admin interface in the adminCP...or can i still have one without hacking it ??

Thanks much
