Computer Spec's List :)
Although done before in other forums and threads, I just want to see and hear about what everyone else is running. I have recently upgraded my computer a little more than originally planned and am pretty happy with the results so far .
CPU/Memory/Space Information: - Athlon XP 2100+ - 1.7GHz (OC'ed 1.85GHz) - 512 MB DDR PC 2700 (333MHz) - 40GB IBM Deskstart 7500RPM Hard Drive Motherboard Information: - VIA KT400 - Gigabyte GA-7VAX/7VAXP - 8x AGP Capable - 1x Fiber Optics Port - 3x Firewire Ports - 4x USB 2.0 Ports (Plus 2 Basic USB) - Promise On-Board RAID Controller - On-Board LAN - On-Board Sound (AC97) Drive Information: - 50x ASUS CD-ROM - 24/10/32x HP CD-RW - Pioneer DVD 16/50x - 1.44 Mitsumi Floppy Computer Modifications: - 1x 6" Blue Cold Cathode - 2x 12" Blue Cold Cathodes - 2x 12" UV/Black Cathodes - Left Side Window Cutting - CPU Tempreture Gauge (stays at around 33C/90F) - IDE Cables replaced with UV Detectable Rounder Cables Casing Fans + Fan Replacements: - 3x Blue LED Fans (2500RPM to 4500RPM) - 1x ThermalTake Case Fan (3500RPM) - 1x Tornado (5500-8500RPM) The tornado fan replaced the standard heatsink fan, although extra drilling to the heatsink faceplate was required as the Tornado fans are 1.5x the normal width of a case fan . What can I say, it runs cooler, although a little louder . |

Jeez man, not enough effort to post all that, but what I'm running now in addition to my iBook:
P3/933, 512 MB PC133 SDRAM, 20 GB 7200 IDE, 8x burner, 10x DVD (read), SB Live Value, ATI TV Wonder, 3Com 10/100, GeForce256, random extras. The system is two years old and still good enough for what I do, even for gaming. |
