]Wondering if this would be possible and if it is could anyone make it?

This what it would do.
Lets say my host that my sig is hosted on is down for some reason. When viewing a post, instead of seeing a big ugly X, people would see a notice saying "WiZZarD's sig is down atm" or something like that.

Hmm..............No way I can think of HTML, only php. Try at vB.org

It's possible, because I have seen it done before but no idea how. I will have to find out.
