Forum Category Title request
Hopefully I can explain this in a descriptive way, so here goes.
I have an idea that seems to be cool if anyone would really be interested in it. It deals with the frontpage categories and its subcategories that go with it. Also it uses the same mysql database so users don't have to login each time to post on a different URL. Would it be possible for each category to be link separately by URL. Here's an example :: Front Page Layout =================================== Gaming Discussion *Main Menu --------------------------------------- Site Related *Feedbacks =================================== This is an example of how the frontpage looks like in a way. But why not a new PHP script page that breaks that into two directories in the server or more for other categories of the front page. Example:: http://yoursite.com/forums/ <-- Frontpage with all links to all categories http://yoursite.com/forums/gaming/ <-- Frontpage for only gaming boards Here's a demo used by phpBB by a friend site of mines :: http://forum.arcticnetwork.net/gaming/ <--only for gaming discussion http://forum.arcticnetwork.net/staff/ <--only for staff discussions Forums may be down, but its really a nifty idea. If anyone could possibly take this into consideration, It'll be gladly appreciated. I'm not too fond of PHP, still learning the basics Thank You |

If it requires anything more than template modifications, you will need to ask at vBulletin.org as we do not support hacks or file modifications of any sort here.
