don't think this is the correct forum but....
if as I suspect you mean restrict your moderators from viewing members ip's you can do this via your admin panel. log into your panel,scroll to user groups,click modify,next to your moderators title click edit,scroll down to where it says Can View IP Addresses on Who's Online and select no. |

This has been posted in the wrong forum.
To my knowledge, you cannot restrict your moderator's access to the IP log without a hack, and I'm not sure that there is one. As administrator, you can change any user's name. However, are you looking to hide the moderator's name, or just change it? |

I understand you, but if he/she is a general moderator it doesn't serve that, through a post they give to logged and they continue seeing the ip

=======================
IP Options ======================= Assuming you're using 2.2.6 of vBulletin, your options for IP logging are: 1. Do not log IP 2. Display but require administrator or moderator 3. Display publicly That's it. Any other changes you would like to make will have to be done with a hack (if one exists). You can do a search at vBulletin.org ======================= Hiding Moderator's Name From Users ======================= To my knowledge, there is no way to do this. Again, you would have to install a hack. Hacks are NOT supported on this website, so you will have to check out vBulletin.org. Hope that helps! |

Please do not double post the exact same thing twice, one thread is enough, otherwise you risk having them all removed. The other thread was asking the exact same thing as this one.
