Useful or Useless?

Another eventful (not) day in my life and i find myself creating yet another 'thing' which is pretty much useless to me but kept me occupied for the time i was making it.

Basically this 'thing' which i can only call an image-slicer will allow a user to upload an image, and slice 'n dice it then output the image into lots of squares inside a table, once loaded it will look like the same, but it is actually seperated into 225 equally sized squares.

But as usual, i have no use for it, and i was wondering if anyone here had any ideas they think it could be used for, or if they would like to try it out i have attached the code below, granted it is messy, since it was just a doodle, just upload it into a directory , like '/slice', and inside the directory make a new directory called 'cave' and CHMOD it to 0777, inside the directory 'slice' upload the slice.php posted below.

Note: Required GD lirbary, and supports jpg/png/gif images.

So, any ideas, or is it completely useless?

Well I suppose people who want to display copyright images could use it - it would make it very difficult to steal your image.

Ah I remember Slynderdale did a script like this a while ago. But it broke it up until pixels not images. Then it mapped every pixel to a hex using GD and then outputted it all as HTML

This could be used for displaying images you don't want ppl to steal.....

PERFECT!! imagine somehow replacing your [ img ] tags with this instead.

Wouldn't that use up a loooot of space? I don't know, I personally don't see the point.

Surprisingly, almost no one knows how to do that. As far as I've seen anyways.

Yeah there is not much point, but it was a fun experiment
