Did I find a Vbulletin Bug or am I just losing My mind?
In the source code for the who's online page, it checks to see if the user is checking for new posts using the getnew function of search.php.
If they are, the code says it should show that fact to me on who's online - not just say "searching" But, when I try it, all I ever see is "searching". I don't remember this ever working right. Does it work for any of you? Amy |

Yes, and no.
I'd rather call it a design issuse then a bug. Users will show up as Searching for new posts ... after search.php?do=getnew has terminated but search.php?searchid=1234 (where search.php?do=getnew has issued a redirect to) hasn't. As this normally is just a matter of miliseconds you wil most likely never see this happen. |

Ah. That makes sense.
