Different Skin & Some Diff. Forums For Each Referrer
I am going to have a forum on the Main Site that will basically act as a central hub forum for many sites across a network. I want it so when Domain A refers a visitor to the main site, they will see a skin unique to that site. I also would like to have some forums unique to that site as well. Then when Domain B refers a visitor, they see the skin and certain forums for Domain B. Maybe at the top they will be able to switch "Home Sites" or select a generic skin.
How would I go about this? |

well i think it can be done with the usergroup permissions. just make some forums only accessible to Domain B and one just for Domain A. i think you can also do that with skins.
basically you have one group called "A" and they can only see "Domain A" forums. another group called "B" and they can only see "Domain B" |

Well how would you determine what group they are in initally? - it would be the referring URL, so either way there'd have to be some modification done to determine where the user is coming from, if it matches with a URL in my list that has a forum set & skin identified with it, and then possibly set a cookie on their machine with this info.
