I would like to add a new feature to my site, but I know some would find this new feature annoying, I would like an option in the control panel for users to be able to shut that feature off and on at will.

I want the feature enabled by default for all, but then they can shut it off if they dont want to use it.

How do I go about doing this?

I am sure that I would put something like if membersad=on then show ads

Can someone help.
