Actually, it didn't work. It shows nothing sometimes, even though there's 20 new posts up, other times it does. It also displays with the quick links not working as well.

Works perfectly for me. You may have a conflict somewhere else.

What would be a possible conflict? I didn't add a lot of hacks, just what I really needed. If it's a admin setting for options though, I can understand that, insanely complex as it is.
