I'm not sure thats possible,. I did it to mine,I just want to compell guests to register, I tried to let them see thread titles, but what they can see is the number of posts and number of members at the bottom. The only thing I dont like, is it says never under the forums, I wish it would say register to view or something. ID almost like to go to school and learn this programming, its interesting as hell

To edit the message members get on their birthday... In the Language & Phrases menu, select "search in Phrases" enter "birthday" and click the radio button next to "Phrase Variable Name Only" then click "Find" ... in the results scroll down about halfway and find "Email Body Text Phrases Containing 'birthday'" edit that phrase and place the desired email message in the English (US) Translation box (a pain isn't it
