Needing some help on non-vB pages
Hi all,
I've posted this in another section on the forum a few weeks ago but it didn't get answered soo: I'd like to be able to do the following on a non-VB page without using a Portal etc. 1 - List all the current users/guests online in this kind of format..: There are currently 5 users online. 3 registered 2 guests ...etc 2 - Take posts from a forum (specified by the Forum ID) and put them on the front page. I would use this a news-posting ability rather than install a News script itself. 3 - Put the last xx (Where xx is a number, e.g. 5 or 10) topics replied to on the forum. Most portal systems offer all these listed above, but as I have no knowledge of viewing the code etc, I was wondering if anyone could post up code for each hack? I'd also like to request for me to be able to modify the templates for each so they match my front page (while keeping the forum template the same) if it's possible. Thanks all and I hope someone can help me in this section this time. Thanks. |

Not really difficult, I suggest you to look at a portal code, or to use services forum !
