Batch of questions on tweaking newly installed 3.0.3
1. Where do I turn off it showing the location in the postbit?
2. How do I get it so that when the radio button "no icon" is selected that it actually works and NO icon is posted in the post? 3. How do I change the background color of all the editors, including the WYSIWYG and all the other variety of editors that come with 3.0.3, including the color of the quick reply edit box too? Not just the background of where the text is typed, but the color of the actual editor? I think I saw where I can change the image buttons in the admin, but saw no place to change the actual beige default color. 4. How do I change the border color around multiple thumbnails in posts? As well as the same boxes around the "Miscellaneous Options", "Attach Files", "Thread Subscription", and "Thread Management"? 5. I can't seem to pinpoint where to change the length of the field where you put the title of new threads, replies, and when editing a post/thread. Can somebody help me find them? (Not the amount of characters that can go into the field, but the phyisical length of the field when creating a thread, reply or editing one. I would appreciate any help on these questions. Thanks! |

Code:
<if condition="$post['field2']"><div>$vbphrase[location_perm]: $post[field2]</div></if> 2. AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Thread Display Options (showthread) > Show Default Post Icon 3. AdminCP > Styles & Tempaltes > Style Manager > Click on GO > WYSIWYG Editor > Background 4. I don't suggest doing this, as it by default, is rendered by the OS, and any special formatting that some OS's may do, may be lost, but if you insist AdminCP > Styles & Tempaltes > Style Manager > Click on GO > Additional CSS Definitions Code:
fieldset { color: #HEXCODE;} |

Thanks, now one last question,
Appearantly I changed a cookie setting in the adminCP that shouldn't have been changed, now I can't login to my forum or the admin CP. How can I get into the adminCP to change it back? It shows the login and password fields and I put in the admin name and the password and it says redirecting, but then it takes me back to the login page instead of taking me to the admin CP. I believe it was the option of where to store cookies, or how to identify the cookies for the forum. Any idea on how to get access so that I can put the field back to a blank as was its default? |

Yeah, but I have no idea how to do that. Isn't there a way to still login and change it back? Perhaps in future versions of VB a warning message could be put next to this cookie option. If I would have known that if set incorrectly it would cause this problem, I would have left it alone.
Can anybody help me on fixing this problem? |

OK I finally tried the original questions I had asked and #s 4 and 5 don't work.
On 4, I put that code in and changed the hexcode I wanted, but it didn't change. It did change the text color within those types of borders though. Any other ideas or as a last resort do you know how to remove them completely? On 5, I'm not looking for the width of where the actual thread text goes, I'm looking for where the subject of the thread goes. I want to increase the length of the subject field so that is is the same length as the message box. Do you know where I would change the subject line field? Thanks for your help so far, if you could still help me resolve these last two, that would be sweet. |
