Custom User Profile - best way to begin?
Greetings:
I am new to hacking VB and have a question about the best way to accomplish my goal. I wish to change the Member's Profile page. I want to move fields around and base it on custom profile fields I have added, change font sizes, things like that. I am creating a "business profile" where custom fields such as company name and products will be near the top. I have no need to retain the original page layout. When visitors click on any member's username, I want them to view the "business profile". Now, I have played around with modifying the MEMBERINFO template directly, this seems like the easiest way. One problem here is that I have tried displaying custom profile fields without success. Can anyone help with this? Here's what I've tried: $profilefield[13] and $profilefield[id=13]. These don't work. Thanks much for any help. |
