Ban user from thread and individual thread moderator?
Over the course of time, a thread may become large and a group may use it for their own means. For instance, a group of Red Sox fans have a large thread. But, a few stupid Yankees fans disrupt the thread ever few weeks.
Is there a hack out there, or could one be made, where you could ban a user from an idividual thread and give people the power to ban people from that thread and edit posts in that thread? That would rock hard! |

Bumped back to the top because a feature like this would be NICE.

There is an existing hack to disallow the author from editing a specific post. It's part of the advanced edit hack, that lets you edit the username who created the post, the date/timestamp of the post, etc....

Well, it was made for vB 3 so it should (maybe with minor changes) also work with 3.0.5

For example, a Red Sox thread where certain mean Yankees fans can't post. So, simply enough, rather than defining who CAN see/post in the thread, defining who can't. Probably wouldn't be hard at all to modify that one to do that. |

I hope this can be done in 3.5 also...
