VB 3.0.3 Phrases Missing
Has anyone else had a problem with phrases missing once they upgraded to the latest version? I'm noticing that it's the ones which were installed via an installer. For instance, my font_color hack needed to have the phrases reinstalled. I also noticed people talking about them missing in other hacks (the community bulletin).
For now I just manually entered the phrases for my font color hack. I am still trying to figure out what else was dropped. :/ I'm wondering if it's easier just to manually install the phrases in the future. |

It is because these hacks probably added phrases to language -1, which is the global language, instead of 0, which is the custom global language. Language -1 is deleted on upgrade and the phrases are added back.

That made me worried... If using an XML file to input phrases using this tag:
<language name="English" vbversion="3.0.3" type="phrases"> Does that still input into the -1 language? In my Phrase Manager, almost all of those phrases shows with an English translation as well... Im doing phrases for the RPG Hack in their own phrasegroup, and need to know this so I dont have to delay the upgrade steps when a new vB is out |

No, the imports into language 1. Master, I believe, goes into -1 and Custom to 0. Although I could be wrong.
