Restricting Thread-Deletion

Hello all. I searched and couldn't seem to find a thread about the topic of thread deletion.

What I'm asking is what would I have to do to code it so that moderaters cannot delete threads. IPB had the option, and I have not found it on vB, but I'm positive a simple line of code will correct this. Any help would be -greatly- appreciated.

it is in moderator options when you add a moderator to a forum, you can set if they can delete or permenately delete messages

Actually, if you notice what I said, I am referring to threads, not posts. There is no such option [unless I'm blind].
