hide $activeusers from all but admins?

I found the hack for vb2 where I was able to hide the $activeusers in the what's going on box from all but admins, but do not see such a hack for vb 3 series.
Is there such a thing built yet, or could someone please advice on how?

We tried editing the permissions in vb as it seemed to be built in, but that had no effect.

REPLACE that with

<if condition="$show['loggedinusers'] and ($permissions['wolpermissions'] & CANWHOSONLINE)">

Instead of editing the template you can also make a file edit and don't touch the template (this way you might also save processing-time):

In File index.php FIND

PHP Code:

if ($vboptions['displayloggedin']) 


REPLACE that with

PHP Code:

if ($vboptions['displayloggedin'] and ($permissions['wolpermissions'] & CANWHOSONLINE)) 


Now only users that are members of usergroups which are allowed to View Who's online can see this.

I have 2 boxes displayed
1 is the standard currently active users, and the other is who was online today
I am trying to hide the currently active users and only display the who was online today part. It's to much to show both systems to all members.

When I applied this code, it effected both systems.
Is it possible to only hide the currently active users and still display who was online today?

Hmm, I don't have a "Who was online today" box, so I guess it's a hack?
Then it depends on the Hack's code/template where you have to put the additional condition.
