Hi
My idea would be to make it dynamic, this way the time is alway shown in the current users time. It would work for ant type of multi quote system too! More importantly it would not allow the person quoting a post to change the time of the original poster! Which would really defeat the purpose of having time in the quote in the first place! I wrote like this for a client sometime ago. It used something like 'multi quote', but with not using cookies and it also has checkboxes for 'multi quote'... The code side of it effect... new_reply, newpm templates! It adds (1) hidden field with the (time) of each quote.... Then in the include (bb code phrase) it has a simple function to convert the time in the users current time! F! |
