Can not Post in a Forum unless User has X Amount of Posts
I want to have it where only people with say 50 posts can post in my For Sale section.
How can I set this up so that I can easily change the number from the Admin Control panel and I can add this to other forums as well. |

Already possible, try using usergroup promotions

make a new usergroup, and give them permission to post in this forum, take it away from everyone else who doesnt need it

I would try and steer clear of using the promotional system, but that's just cause I want to keep everything more organized and easily editable by me..
I would do something like a conditional that shows the post reply/new thread buttons if they only have 50 posts or above, and displayes a message telling them to get 50 posts if they don't already have it. That way, some people would still be able to figure out how to post in there though.. (edit the url manually) but it would still keep probably 99% of the users with less than 50 posts out of there. |
