Images for forum area names
I have been playing around and can't quite seem to get anything together that works. I have created images to be the titles of the top-level subforums. More specifically, I would like to use images of text for the titles on the front page. As an example of what I mean, on the front page of vb.org there are sections titled "vBulletin.org", "Code Modifications vB3", "Code Modifications vB2", "General Codings/Questions", "Miscellanous", and "vBulletin Network". On my forum, I'd like to have graphics appear instead of text.
I wasn't entirely sure which conditional to use. Would the best way be to use a conditional? (if forumid=X then img src="X" and so on). Appreciate any tips or perhaps someone has a snippet of code that they've already done. Thanks. |

Using <img src> tags for forum titles seems to do the trick. Unless there are better ways of doing this, feel free to move/delete this thread.

Ok, that isn't the best way at all. I assume conditionals should be used since that way they can be made to show up on the 1st and 2nd level listings, but not anywhere else where it should just be text.
