Hey all,

I recently moved to a VPS and the mail software emails me when mail bounces, so I have been getting occasional emails telling me that vBulletin sent an email out to member and the destination server bounced it for whatever reason. Is there I way I can have vB detect (or prevent them) and stop sending emails after a certain number of bounces and just alert the user to the problem the next time they log in?

I just found vBouncer but it looks daunting to install, and with my limited linux experiance thats dangerous. What else could I do if not that?

This is becoming a real problem with my server, could I please get some help?

I would like something that would totally disable the board from sending out ANY type of email to a user once there service provider bounces more than 5 emails. this way we don't hear anything from them.
