Two Seperate Logins, Tied Into One
Hey Everyone,
I am looking for a way to tie two "systems" for lack of a better word, one being e107 (e107.org) and the other being a vbulletin system. They both use seperate user tables, although I would prefer to merge them, and basically I am looking for a way that when a user logins on the main page, it send the information out to both e107's cookies and vbulletin's cookies. I figured the easiest way to make this possible (and make only one registration needed) would be to tie the two into one cookie, one registration system, and one login system. If anyone would be willing to take this on, knows of a mod that exists already or anything else that would make this possible ASAP, I would greatly appreciate it. I thank you all in advance. |

Are you trying to use vbulletin with e107 as the portal? You may want to check out some of the front page portals already out for vbulletin as you might find intergrating them easier.
Other than that, your gonna have to change the code in E107 to reference the vbulletin user tables. |

Aww, this sucks. I think I might try and create a script to integrate the two. I like e107 and love VB, so I'll try and think of something.
