How to embed forums in another page?

Hi

I am sure this is a basic modification, but I cannot figure out how to search or find it.

I want to make a page, and as one of the features offered, I want to embed one of my forums within that page. It would be a bit smaller than the forums available on the forums main page because there is also a left navigation bar.

Now here is another tricky part. The theme on the index page is different than the that of the embedded forums. How can I both embed the forums on my page, and make it so that the theme will match?
