vbulletin.org - esqe headers
Hi, I am designing a new vB with 3.0 & have always loved the vbulletin.org site. I was wanting to add those cool cool headers to my site as well (such as this image)
i don;t suppose there is a hack for this.... i plan to install vbindex as well.... any help appreciated |

nope, ther is no hack.
those img's have been created manually and the newspage is written jsut for vb.org |

well looks good (as always)....maybe you could give me some tips on where to start editing? if not thats cool... i'm sure your busy D |

Step 1 - install a homepage portal like vBAdvanced.. free hack here at .org.
Step 2 - Design your header in Photoshop or other image editing software. Step 3 - Edit templates.. you'll most likely only be concerned with the 'header' template for now, but maybe navbar and footer as well. The header template is quite simple this time around. You'll want to build a 100% width table that encloses the whole forum, and put it at the bottom of 'header' like this: Code:

</td></tr></table> That is the basic idea... good luck. |

hehe well i managed to add a 2nd header to the top of my forums :P
gives me a place to start i guess thx even though i'm clueness as i was before heh |
