Give each other points

Are there any hacks that allows users to give each other points?

What I'm thinking of is for example if one user writes a really good post, other people can give the user +1 point, or -1 if the post sucks.. And people can't vote on the same user more than 1 time each day or something like that..

A hack like this would have been really nice..

Karma?/Reputation you could use the store hack too....

Well, the Karma gives points if the user replys to threads, make new threads etc... I don't want that, I want my users to get points because of good, informational posts, not how many posts they make.. That will just make them to write a lot of nonsense just to get many points.

I'm looking for exactly the same!
Users could reward author interesting letters (answers) by giving points.
What do you propose? Is there any hack like this?
