A good portal system
Hello,
This is my first official post but I've been here for around a year about now. I just started a community Sunday however and in a rather big pickle. Not only is my community not yet up to speed, but it has no portal. I have tried every portal system on this site and none of them seem to do what I need. Each and every single one only alows me to use the vBulletin classic skin. I've heard a lot about vbPortal 3 beta 2.2 or something like that. I went to their website, got that alpha 8.1 version since it was the only one in the download section, and it looked a lot like a phpnuke install or something. It didn't even have proper install instructions as far as I could tell. If anyone knows at all of any decent portal system and where to download it, please let me know. If you know how to make it so my actual themes I use for my website show up on the portal, I'd like to know that was well. For those interested, my website is http://forums.melchior.us. Thanks! |

I believe all of the 2 (lol) portal systems released on this site allow integration with your current style. You just need to look at the options closer and the instructions file

I use VirtuaNews.
It integrates with vbulletin well. |

I'm running vbadvanced on vb3 gamma. While it's not a CMS it does integrate very nicely and can be run with multiple skins.
You can check it out at The Babblers if you like. If interested, it can be found over at vbulletin.nl |

Thanks, I finally got myvBindex to work. vbHome Lite had a deep problem with the templates, I had to change more then just the basics which angered me. Then I found that no news was showing up after I had converted them all to news posts. Oh well, I'm content now. Thanks!
