default poll
I am setting up a board where people can vote on each item that I make a thread about. Basically I want them to have the same question and same answers available on each thread.
I would like to have a hack that would let me create a default poll. All I would need to do is create one in the admin panel... then whenever I made a new thread I would have an option at the bottom of the screen just below the "Yes! post a poll" section that would say "Post Your Default Poll". Is it possible that someone could make a hack that would do something like this? It would make things a lot easier for me. I wouldn't mind a different idea than I posted. Or is there a hack allready available that does this? I've looked on the board for a few days and can't find anything close. Thanks to anyone who can help me. #01 |

this could be done via an edit to the postings.php i think, anyway that might put you in the right direction, basically you wanna code it so that when you post it makes the poll unless you click the tick to make the thread then it will make the you specified thread.
but all your answers should come via reading the posting.php |

Thx for the reply. I will take a look at that. But I am not a coder yet. So I don't think I'll be able to figure it out. Can anybody maybe post some code for me to try?
